Questions people ask us
Why did I get an email from getcobuy.com? Is it really CoBuy?
Yes. getcobuy.com is CoBuy's outreach domain, used only for emails to store owners and agencies. Our product and its notifications use cobuyapp.com, and some emails come from our parent company's domain, vyasatechnologysolutions.com. All three belong to Vyasa Technology Solutions, LLC, and you can find us on the Shopify App Store.
How did you find my store or contact details?
We look for Shopify stores and agencies whose products are a good fit for shopping with friends, using publicly available business information such as your website. If you'd rather not hear from us, see the last question below.
Is CoBuy a real, approved Shopify app?
Yes. CoBuy is published on the Shopify App Store, which means it passed Shopify's app review. It's built by Vyasa Technology Solutions, LLC, a US company, and the technology is patent pending.
Which platforms does CoBuy work with?
Shopify, for now. CoBuy installs as an embedded app inside your Shopify admin.
What does it cost?
Current plans are listed on our App Store listing and at cobuyapp.com/pricing. You approve every charge through Shopify, and it appears on your regular Shopify invoice.
Won't discounts eat into my margins?
You decide which products take part, how much each discount level gives, and whether there's a ship-together bonus. Before you turn anything on, the ROI calculator shows where CoBuy pays off using your own margins and order values.
Do I need to change my theme or move anything?
No. CoBuy works with your existing products, checkout and orders, and you manage it from inside your Shopify admin.
What happens to my customers' data?
We only use customer data to run circles and discounts for your store. People in the same circle never see each other's full address. Our privacy policy has the details.
I'm an agency. How does a partnership work?
We set up each agency partnership individually, around how you work with your clients. A good first step is to build an ROI report for one of your clients with the calculator. Then book a call and we'll walk through it together.
How do I stop receiving emails from you?
Reply "no thanks" or "unsubscribe" to any of our emails, or write to hello@cobuyapp.com, and we'll stop. No hard feelings.
